REGISTRATION IS OPEN!

Looking for a great, small field 5K event? How about a professionally run (Race Day Events LLC), 5K chip-timed run followed by food, drinks, and fun for all at Nest Fest 2011.

The 1st Annual Nest Fest 5K Run will be Sunday, August 21, 2011.  The event will wrap up Nest Fest 2011, a Verona Area Community Event that is getting bigger and better every year. Stay after the run for Nest Fest activities and a post race party!  

When:

• Sunday, August 21, 2011
• 8:30 am – 10:00 am:  On-site registration and race-day packet pick-up
• 9:30 am:  1 Mile Kids Run Start
• 10:30 am:  5K Race Start

Format:

     Nest Fest 1 Mile Kids Run

• Ages 12 & under

     Nest Fest 5K

• Chip Timed 5K Race
• 4 age groups, Men and Women

Cost:

• Nest Fest 1 Mile Kids Run:  $10
• Nest Fest 5K:
• $20.00 prior to August 14
• $25.00 August 14 through Race Day

Details:

• Gift bag, T-shirt, and free beverage guaranteed for all 5K participants registered prior to August 14.  A limited number of gift bags and T-shirts will be available for those registered after August 14.
• Trophies to the top 5K male and female overall, as well as to the top finisher in each division.  Trophies will be Nest Fest themed, one of-a-kind items!

Cost:  $20 before August 7, $25.00 August 7 through Race Day.

Registration opens June 15, 2011.

3.  On-site race day registration from 8:30 am – 10:00 am.

Weather/Refund Policy: 

The Nest Fest 5K will be held rain or shine. In the event of severe weather, the race may be delayed or cancelled. If the race is cancelled there will be NO REFUNDS. Race Day Events has a NO REFUND policy. There are no refunds for any reason. 

Start & Finish: 

The start/finish will be at Festival Park in Verona, WI. Festival Park is located off Lincoln St. just south of Verona Rd. Please plan to carpool and park in the lots near Festival Park.

Parking: 

Please park in the lots to the east of the Eagle's Nest, the City Hall parking lot, or the Little League fields.

Packet Pick-Up:

Early packet pick-up will be held at Eagles Nest Ice Arena from noon to 4:00pm on Saturday, August 20th. Packets may also be picked up race-day at Festival Park from 8:30am to 10:00am.   

Aid Station: 

There will be 1 aid station(s) offering water half way through the course.

Registration Includes:

Each participant registered prior to August 14 will receive a custom Nest Fest 5K Tech Tee and a gift bag.  All participants get a free beverage after the race.  A limited number of gift bags and T-shirts will be available for post August 14 registrations and distributed on a first come, first served basis.

Trophies and Awards:

Trophies will be awarded to the top 5K male and female overall, as well as to the top finisher in each division.  Trophies will be Nest Fest themed, one of-a-kind items!
