to the Southwest Eagles
Organizers, Volunteers, and Sponsors, were key to making Nest Fest 2010 a great success - THANK YOU!
We are currently reviewing the fundraising results, and will provide information regarding funds raised and target expenses for these funds as soon as the information is available. The event was a success, both in terms of community building and fundraising, and we hope to make this a yearly event and continue to build this success so that we have the best possible home for our kids to play hockey.
Thanks to Nikki Moore for many of the photos in the Galleries below. If you have any photos you'd like to have added to the photo galleries, please forward them to the Southwest Eagles Webmaster.

The First Annual Nest Fest 3 vs 3 Tournament was a huge success. All brackets were filled, and there was some great hockey during the tournament.
Numerous outdoor activities were enjoyed at Nest Fest: 2 live bands Saturday, DJ and Karaoke Friday Night, Kids Games, Beer Tent, a Bouncy House, and more...
Busy in the sun and busy in the rain - the Dunk Tank. Thanks to all those that volunteered to get in the tank for the cause. Southwest Coaches, Southwest Alums, VAHS Coach Joel Marshall, Rink Manager Peter Johnson, and even one of our Verona Police Officers spent time in the Nest Fest Tank. THANK YOU!
We had a fairly good turn-out for the Slow-Pitch tournament as well. Definitely a good event to build on next year.
This event is not possible without volunteers. Thanks much to everyone that donated their time to the event.
