Program Outline
Southwest has implemented a program to provide its families a unique “EaglePass” account that allows members of their family (parents, skaters, siblings) to easily purchase items from the Eagle's Nest concession stand without requiring cash. This program is available exclusively to families registered at Southwest only and will be administered by Southwest. Use of the EaglePass is limited to periods of normal activity and will not be available for use during periods of high activity (such as high school hockey games). As part of the mandatory fundraising plan for 2009-2010, Southwest families are required to deposit an initial $25 into their EaglePass accounts. Families will have the ability (at the concession stand) to deposit additional funds into their EaglePass account at any time during the season.
How to use your EaglePass account
Each family is assigned a EaglePass account to use when making purchases at the concession stand. The concession stand also has a record of your unique EaglePass account and you will not need to remember it in order to make purchases at the Eagles Nest concession stand.
To make purchases with your EaglePass account :
Step 1. Order food and beverage at the Eagles Nest concession stand and tell the attendant that you will be using your EaglePass account.
Step 2. The attendant will ask for the last name of the registered skater and their Date of Birth to confirm their identity. They will check this information against the computer for validity and to determine the current balance of the account. Balances are updated on a real-time basis as purchases are made. If the account has a balance insufficient to cover the purchase, the attendant will ask whether you would like to deposit additional funds into your EaglePass account or cover the difference in cash.
Replenishing your EaglePass Account
Your EaglePass account can be replenished at any time by stopping at the Eagle's Nest concession stand during business hours and telling the attendant that you would like to add funds to your EaglePass account. Balances are updated on a real-time basis.
EaglePass Account Status and Reporting
You can stop at the concession stand at any time to find out information about your current EaglePass account balance. To request a statement of account, please email the treasurer at treasurer@southwesteagles.com. Statements will also be mailed/emailed out on an occasional basis throughout the year.
Closing or disabling your EaglePass account
You have the option to close your Eagle Pass account when your initial balance reaches $0. Please contact our Concessions Manager to close or disable your Eagle Pass account. You will be required to turn in your Eagle Pass keytags and the account will be removed from the Eagle Pass Account List.
Validity and end of season accouting
Your EaglePass is valid for use from 09/18/2010 through 03/17/12. On 03/17/12 your EaglePass account will be disabled and any remaining balance on your account will donated to Southwest.
