Another great weekend for the PeeWee B team.
The kids started the weekend winning 8-5 over the Washington County Green team, with Declan Makuch earning a hat trick, and great defense by all holding off a team that never gave up. Keeping their 7 game winning streak alive they went on to beat a tough Eagle River team in an exciting to the end game, 3-2 in overtime shoot out. Mason Roth scored first in the 3 player shootout, and Nathan Pitek held off all 3 shooters from Eagle River to clinch the victory. The championship game on Sunday was hard fought, but plagued with penalties and in the end the Eagles lost to Waukesha 1-6.
The kids were all disappointed, but should be so proud of how they have come together as a team. This was great preparation for their state tournament in 3 weeks.
Again, us parents are very proud of how all the kids played, GREAT JOB and congratulations on taking 2nd in the tournament.
